How to choose switches and sockets correctly

1. Look at the certification: Switches and sockets are compulsory certification products stipulated by China Quality Certification Center. Please confirm the "3C" logo on the product and the company code under the logo when purchasing . This company code is unique.

2. Choose professional brands: Most of the switch products on the market are accessory products of some electrical manufacturers halfway through. There are not many professional brands that really develop and produce switch socket products. It is best to choose a major brand that specializes in the production of switches.

3. Select the safety type: When choosing the socket, if the installation height is below 1.8 meters, especially the socket that is easy to reach by children, be sure to choose a safety type (with protective door) socket product, and confirm that the socket should be protected when the socket is inserted in a single hole. It has a locking function (when the plug is inserted into the two holes at the same time, the protective door can be opened to complete the plug and socket connection) to avoid accidents.

4. Configure the switch and socket according to the rated voltage and rated current: now ordinary houses use single-phase power supply lines, and the rated voltage is 250V ; the selection of rated current: when the equipment is known to be used, it should be selected to be greater than 1.25 times the rated current of the equipment ; When the equipment is unknown, it should not be less than 5A . Considering the high power of some household appliances, the rated current should usually be selected not less than 10A .
